A Status Report dated 13.08.2018 has been filed by the police with the approval of the DCP concerned. The petitioner is aggrieved by the non-traceability of his wife, who has been missing since 01.03.2018. He suspects foul play by one Akhilesh in her disappearance. However, according to the Status Report, the petitioner's wife was amorously disposed towards Akhilesh and eloped with him. It is another matter, that Akhilesh was already married and has abandoned his wife. A complaint was also lodged by Akhilesh's brother about his illicit relations with the petitioner's wife. This complaint was filed on 28.09.2017 at Police Station, Bindapur, Delhi vide DD No. 19B.
Evidently, the complaint by the brother of Akhilesh was almost six
months prior to his elopement with the petitioner's wife. According to the police, they are trying to trace Akhilesh and the petitioner's wife. They have not found any clues thus far. It is stated that active surveillance is in place and any clue about the same will be actively pursued. At this stage, no further orders are required. The petition is disposed-off accordingly.
