1. The Petitioner is seeking a direction to the police to restore to him the custody of his 25 year old daughter.

2. A status report has filed by the Station House Officer ('SHO') of Police Station (PS) Najafgarh in response to an advance copy of this petition being served on him. It is stated that the Petitioner's daughter got married to Respondent No.4 on 11th December, 2017 at the Arya Samaj Mandir, Harit Vihar, Delhi.

3. The Petitioner's daughter and Respondent No.4 are present in Court. According to the Petitioner's daughter, she has not been confined illegally by anyone. She has voluntarily married Respondent No.4 and they are residing separately in a rented accommodation in W.P.(CRL) 1180/2018 Page 1 of 2

Delhi. They will provide their address and contact details to the SHO.

4. Mr. Rahul Mehra, learned Standing counsel for State mentions that the Petitioner's daughter is anxious that her personal documents viz., her Voter ID, 10th & 12th class mark sheets and certificates, graduation degree and mark sheets, Teaching Diploma, CTET certificate and Birth Certificate etc. are still with her father. The SHO will speak to the Petitioner forthwith and facilitate the return of the documents to the Petitioner's daughter.

5. The Court does not consider it necessary to issue any further directions in this petition.

6. The petition is disposed of accordingly.
