% 22.12.2016 Petitioner and respondent no.1 have settled their disputes amicably. Petitioner has paid `14 Lacs to respondent no.1 through RTGS transfer for full and final settlement of all the claims of respondent no.1 involved in the cheque in question. Respondent no.1 submits that offence may be permitted to be compounded. Offence under Section 138 of the Negotiable Instruments Act is compounded. Petitioner is acquitted.

Petition is disposed of in the above terms.

Miscellaneous application is disposed of as infructuous.
