None appears for the petitioner.

The petitioner has filed the present petition, inter alia, praying as under:- "a) issue a writ of mandamus or any other appropriate writ, order or direction to the respondent to return the documents particularly the cheques (Fourteen in numbers) as per annexure A of the Panchnama dated 22.01.2014 regarding premises bearing no. A-309, 2nd Floor, Derawala Nagar, New Delhi110017." 3.

Mr Narula, learned counsel for the respondent states that the cheques (14 in number), which were seized from the premises of the petitioner during search and seizure operation conducted on 22.01.2014 have since been returned. He further states that a show cause notice dated 09.05.2017 has been issued.

He has further handed over a copy of the receipt dated

12.06.2017, which indicates that copies of all relied upon documents had been provided to the petitioner and further all non relied upon documents had been returned to the petitioner in original. 4.

In this view, the petitioner's grievance does not survive. The petition is, accordingly, disposed of.
