BAIL APPLN. 729/2016 1.

By way of this application filed under Section 439 Cr.P.C. read with Section 37 of the NDPS Act, petitioner is praying for extension of interim bail which is expiring today i.e. 5th April, 2016. 2.

Notice. Ms.Kusum Dhalla, APP for the State accepts notice of this application.

Perusal of the record reveals that earlier also petitioner had filed a bail application being Bail Appl.No.669/2016 for grant of interim bail in case FIR No.54/2014 registered under Sections 21/22, 29/61/85 of NDPS Act at

PS Special Cell on the ground of serious condition of his daughter who met with an accident and despite grafting lot of puss coming out of the wound. 4.

Vide order dated 23rd March, 2016, petitioner was granted interim bail for a period of one week and the application being Bail Appl.No.669/2016 was adjourned for 29th March, 2016.

Thereafter, vide order dated 29th March, 2016, Bail Appl.No.669/2016 was disposed of by extending interim bail for a further period of one week. 6.

Since the petitioner has already been granted interim bail for a period of two weeks, there is no requirement to extend the interim bail any further as sought for by filing the present application. 7.

The application is dismissed.
