% 24.03.2017 Issue notice. Notice is accepted on behalf of the State by Mr. Akhtar. The petitioner has preferred the present petition to seek parole for a period of three months. The ground for seeking parole is that the petitioner's mother in law is 75 years of age and she is receiving treatment at IHBAS and she needs somebody to look after her.

The nominal roll shows that the petitioner and her husband are convicted in case FIR 191/2002 under Section 302/201/120B IPC. The petitioner has undergone 12 years and 3 days incarceration. The jail conduct of the petitioner is satisfactory.

Mr. Akhtar has tendered a status report in the connected petition being W.P.(Crl.) No. 905/2017 which is taken on record. The factum of the petitioner's mother in law receiving treatment at IHBAS since 2008 has been verified.

The petitioner has also been released earlier on parole/ furlough on various occasions and there is no adverse report of her misusing the same. In these circumstances, the petitioner is directed to be released on parole for a period of four weeks subject to: i) furnishing personal bond with one surety in the sum of Rs.10,000/- to the satisfaction of the Jail Superintendent;

ii) the petitioner shall provide mobile phone number to the Jail Superintendent at the time of his release, which shall be kept in working condition at all times. The same shall not be changed without prior intimation to the Jail Superintendent; iii) the petitioner shall report at the local police station to mark attendance on every Monday at 11:00 a.m. during the period of parole; iv) the petitioner shall duly surrender at the end of the period of parole; and v) the petitioner shall also not indulge in any criminal activity while on parole.
