Present writ petition has been filed under Article 226 of the Constitution of India read with Section 482 Cr.P.C. for quashing of FIR No.129/2016 registered under Sections 323/354D/308 /341/506/34 IPC at PS Jaitpur.

Status report reveals that there are seven victims who are present in the Court today. Nature of injuries sustained by the victims is 'simple'.

At oral request of the learned counsel for the petitioners, the remaining three victims (Savitri Devi, Sumanti Devi & Basanti Devi) are impleaded as respondents No.6 to 8. Amended memo of parties shall be placed on record.

It is stated that the matter has been settled amicably with all the victims vide settlement deed dated 14.03.2016. 5.

All the victims are present and have been identified by the Investigating Officer. I have enquired from the victims if they have settled the dispute with the petitioners amicably without any fear or pressure. They have informed that all the disputes between the parties have been resolved amicably with their free consent and they have no objection to the quashing of the FIR in question. 6.

The petition is supported by affidavits of the parties. Copy of settlement deed dated 14.03.2016 has been placed on record. Since the dispute between the parties has been settled, no useful purpose will be served to continue with the proceedings. In the interest of justice and to enable the parties to put an end to the litigation, FIR No.129/2016 registered under Sections 323/354D/308/341/506/34 IPC at PS Jaitpur and all the proceedings arising therefrom are quashed.

The petitioners are directed to deposit ` 15,000/- as costs in the Prime Minister Relief Fund within two weeks. Registry shall ensure its compliance.

The petition stands disposed of accordingly.

Pending application also stands disposed of.
