The matter has been placed before us in the National Lok Adalat with the consent of parties, who are present through their counsel. 2.

The parties have settled the disputes. The appellant/Reliance General Insurance Company Limited (the appellant/insurance company', for short) had sought reduction in the compensation awarded by the Tribunal. The parties have agreed to reduce the amount of the Award by a lump sum of Rs.5,00,000/-.

It is informed that the appellant/insurance company has deposited the entire awarded amount of Rs.14,00,048/- along with interest at the @ 9% per annum with the Registrar General of this Court. The Registrar General is directed to refund a lump sum of Rs.5,00,000/- out of the said amount, to the authorised agent of the appellant/insurance company subject to proof of identity.

The Registrar General is directed to release the balance sum of Rs.9,00,048 along with full interest in favour of the respondents/ claimants Rambha Devi, Lakshimi Singh, Indu Devi, Master Prince, Master Arpit and Baby Ria in terms of the Award on production of documents of identification.

The statutory amount of Rs. 25,000/- along with interest, if any, shall be returned to the appellant/insurance company by the Registrar General of this Court.

The matter is accordingly settled.

This Award be placed on the record of the case. 8.

The file be consigned.
