% 22.08.2017 The petitioner has filed the present writ petition seeking deletion of his name from the register of people with bad character. After the filing of the present writ petition, the name of the petitioner has been removed from such register and has been kept in the personal file of the police station. The grievance of the petitioner thus has been redressed, albeit only after filing of the present writ petition.

In that view of the matter, the petitioner seeks permission to withdraw this writ petition.

Dismissed as withdrawn.
