% 08.04.2016 The present is a petition under Article 226 of the Constitution of India read with Section 482 of the Code of Criminal Procedure, 1973 (Cr.P.C.) praying as follows:- "It is, therefore, most humbly prayed that your lordships may graciously be pleased to:- a) Direct the respondent No.2 to No.7 to interfere in the peaceful married life of petitioners in any manner and not harass the petitioner No.2 and his family members in any manner by issuing a writ of Mandamus;
b) Direct the respondent No.1,2 and 8 to extend full protection to the life and liberty of the petitioners ensure their safety and security by issuing a writ of mandamus; c) Pass any other order which this Hon'ble Court may deem fit and proper in the facts and circumstances of the case in the interest of justice.
Notice.
Mr. Sanjay Lao, learned Additional Standing Counsel (Criminal) appearing on behalf of the State, on instructions from SI Ishvar Singh, Police Station- Pul Prahladpur, Delhi states that in view of the circumstance that the
petitioners are a newly-wed couple, who are apprehending grave threat to their life and limb at the hands of the family of petitioner No.1, the police would afford adequate protection to them. The beat constable of the concerned area shall also be sensitized in this behalf. The telephone number of the SHO of the concerned police station as well as the beat constable shall be provided to the petitioners in order to enable the latter to contact the former in the event of any threat or apprehension.
Directed accordingly.
In view of the direction that is being issued in the present petition, I do not think it proper and necessary to issue notice to respondent Nos.3 to 7, family members of petitioner no.1 herein, in the present petition. With above directions the writ petition is allowed and disposed of accordingly. Pending application also stands disposed of. A copy of this order be given dasti under the signature of Court Master to counsel for the parties.
