HON'BLE MS. JUSTICE REKHA PALLI
O R D E R
% 23.04.2018 Vide the present petition, the petitioner has sought quashing of the order dated 19th March, 2018 passed by the Standing Appellate Committee of the AICTE, whereby the petitioner's application seeking grant of approval for running Diploma in Pharmacy with an intake of 60 students for the academic year 2018-19, was rejected. Learned counsel for the petitioner submits that, immediately upon filing of the present petition, the petitioner has received an email dated 19th April, 2018, from the respondent directing the Chairman of the Petitioner's Trust to appear before the Scrutiny Committee on 20th April, 2018. He submits that the Chairman of the Petitioner's Trust had duly appeared before the Scrutiny Committee on 20th April, 2018 along with all the relevant documents and, therefore, submits that at this stage, the only limited prayer he now
seeks, is that the respondent be directed to take a final decision on the petitioner's application on or before 30th April, 2018. Mr.Anil Soni, learned counsel who appears on advance notice on behalf of the respondent, does not oppose the aforesaid prayer and assures the Court that a decision would be taken on the petitioner's application and communicated to the petitioner on or before 30th April, 2018.
In view of the aforesaid statement made by the learned counsel for the respondent, the petition and pending applications are disposed of.
