% 21.04.2016 Present petition has been filed by the husband of respondent no.4 under Article 226 of the Constitution of India seeking a writ of habeas corpus thereby directing the respondents to produce his minor child, Master Sahil, who is six years of age.

Learned counsel for respondents no.3 and 4 enter appearance. Respondent no.4 and Master Sahil are also present in Court. We have interacted with the petitioner and respondent no.4 in the Chamber. Respondent no.4 submits that she left her matrimonial home as she was being beaten by the petitioner and his mother. She further submits that she is willing to join the company of her husband (petitioner) provided the petitioner and other family members approach respondent no.4 and other elders of the village and give an undertaking with respect to her safety and well-being.

In view of the stand taken by respondent no.4 and the fact that the minor son, Sahil, has been produced in Court by respondent no.4, the present petition is dismissed as not pressed.
