O R D E R

% 23.04.2018 Vide the present petition, the petitioner has sought a direction to the respondent No.1 to decide its statutory appeal dated 03.02.2018.

Learned counsel for the petitioner submits that as per the statutory provisions, the respondents are enjoined to decide the appeal within 90 days, but even after expiry of 11 weeks, the petitioner has till date not even received any communication about fixing the date of hearing of the appeal.

Ms.Dwivedi, learned counsel for the respondent who appears on advance notice submits that the respondent is conscious of its duties and, keeping in view the timeline provided under the Act, will take steps to expeditiously decide the petitioner's appeal. She assures

the Court that within next two weeks, the respondent will definitely communicate the date of hearing to the petitioner. In view of the statement made by learned counsel for the respondent, the petitioner does not press the writ petition, which is disposed of as not pressed.
