% 14.09.2015 This petition essentially sought the de-notification of the land under Section 48 of the Land Acquisition Act, 1894.

By virtue of our judgment in W.P.(C) 2395/2015 delivered on 06.07.2015, the acquisition in respect of the land in question has already been held to have lapsed in view of the provisions of Section 24(2) of the Right to Fair Compensation and Transparency in Land Acquisition, Rehabilitation and Resettlement Act, 2013.
