(Crl.) 1155/2016 This is a petition under Article 226 of the Constitution read with Section 482 Cr.PC moved by the petitioner for quashing of FIR No.0339/2015 registered at Police Station Greater Kailash, New Delhi under Sections 354D/506 IPC and consequent proceedings emanating therefrom on the ground that the parties have compromised the matter.

Mr Avi Singh, ASC for State appears on advance notice and submits, under instructions from the Investigating Officer, that the charge-sheet has already been filed and the petitioner in fact has not been arrayed as an accused in the same. In view of above submissions, learned Senior Counsel for the petitioner, on instructions, seeks to withdraw the petition. The petition is accordingly dismissed as withdrawn.
