% 27.09.2016 The learned counsel for the parties state upon instructions that the matter has been settled amicably.

The learned amicus for the petitioner states upon instructions that the petitioner is agreeable to settle all of his dues at Rs. 40,000/-. In terms of the settlement, the respondent has brought to court a cheque bearing no. 000128 dt. 27.09.2016 amounting to Rs. 40,000/- drawn in favour of the petitioner, towards the full and final settlement of all claims. The learned counsel for the parties state that no lis of any nature whatsoever survives between the parties. The parties are present in court. The learned amicus for the petitioner has accepted the cheque. The learned counsel for the respondent submits that the cheque is good for encashment.
