% 17.03.2017 The petitioner has filed the present petition seeking quashing of FIR No.292/2016 registered on the complaint of the complainant under Sections 24/ 54/ 59 of the Arms Act against the petitioner at Police Station - IGI Airport.

Issue notice. Ms. Rao accepts notice. She has tendered in Court a status report, which is taken on record. The status report states that the petitioner is having a valid arms license and the cartridges recovered from him were in respect of the same.

Accordingly, no useful purpose would be served in proceeding further with the FIR in question and the proceedings emanating therefrom. The same are hereby quashed.
