Present petition has been filed under Section 482 Cr.P.C. for quashing of FIR No.213/2011 registered under Sections 323/341/354/506/34 IPC at PS Ghazipur. It is stated that the matter has been settled amicably with the complainant / respondent No.2. 2.

Complainant / respondent No.2 is present with her mother and they have been identified by the Investigating Officer. I have enquired from them if they have settled the dispute with the petitioners amicably without any fear or pressure. They have informed that all the disputes between the parties have been resolved amicably CRL.M.C. 1473/2016

with their free consent and they have no objection to the quashing of the FIR in question. I have examined the Trial Court record. The victim was partly examined as PW-2 on 27.04.2015. Apparently, no substantial progress has taken place in the trial. Order dated 28.03.2016 reveals that talks for settlement were going on between the parties and they intended to file quashing petition before this Court.

The petition is supported by affidavits of the parties. Since the dispute between the parties has been settled, no useful purpose will be served to continue with the proceedings. In the interest of justice and to enable the parties to put an end to the litigation, FIR No.213/2011 registered under Sections 323/341/354/506/34 IPC at PS Ghazipur and all the proceedings arising therefrom are quashed. 4.

The petition stands disposed of accordingly.
