1. The latest status report has been perused. The daughter of the Petitioners has been recovered and she has been produced in the Court today.

2. On 8th August, 2018 with the girl's consent, there has been medical termination of her pregnancy which at the time was two months. On 9th August, 2018 her statement under Section 164 Cr PC was recorded before the learned Metropolitan Magistrate. The girl is now with her parents.

3. Mr. Mehra informs the Court that she has disclosed therein that she went with one Ramu of her own free will and got married to him in Rai Bareilly, U.P. Apparently Ramu left her outside Aman Vihar Police Station on 5th August, 2018.

4. At this stage the girl expressed her wish to meet us in the chamber. We met her in the presence of Mr. Rahul Mehra, learned Standing counsel. She confirmed that she got married to Ramu of her own free will and now wants

to stay with the parents. She, however, expects that once she completes 18 years of age, she will be able to join her husband. She expresses an apprehension that her parents should not get her forcibly married to somebody else.

5. Keeping in view the above apprehension expressed by the Petitioners' daughter, it is directed that not later than 27th August, 2018, both Petitioners 1 and 2, i.e. the father and mother respectively of the girl, shall file separate affidavits of undertaking in this Court undertaking that they will take good care of their daughter Parvati and will not get her forcibly married to anyone against her wishes.

6. The Court further directs that the Station House Officer of Police Station Aman Vihar will depute a lady constable in plain clothes to call on the Petitioners' daughter at least once a week to enquire about her welfare and to ensure that she is not under any duress or difficulty.

7. No further directions are called for. It will be open to the parties to apply for directions in case of any difficulty.

8. The petition is disposed of.

9. A copy of this order be given dasti to the parties under the signatures of Court Master.
