By way of this writ petition filed under Article 226 of the Constitution of India read with Section 482 of Cr.P.C., petitioner is praying for grant of parole for a period of three months on the ground of renovation of his dilapidated house and for reconnecting social ties with the family & society. 2.

Status report on behalf of the State has been filed as per which petitioner is presently on furlough of 14 days w.e.f. 21st April, 2016 to 4th May, 2016 granted by Tihar Jail Authority Delhi. 3.

As per Parole/Furlough Guidelines-2010, a minimum period of six months ought to have elapsed from the date of termination of the previous parole/furlough.

In the given facts and circumstances, the prayer of the Petitioner for releasing him on parole is hereby rejected.

Accordingly, the writ petition is dismissed.

6.

Petitioner be informed through concerned Jail Superintendent about the orders passed.
