Learned APP accepts notice for respondent no. 1.

Respondent no. 2 is present in Court along with her counsel and accepts notice. Respondent no. 2 has been identified by Inspector Usha Sharma of Police Station Hauz Khas.

Respondent no. 2 submits that she has settled the matter with the petitioners of her own free will, voluntarily and without any undue force, pressure or coercion before the Delhi Mediation Centre, Tis Hazari Courts,

Delhi on 25th May, 2017 and she has no objection in case FIR no. 271/2013 under Sections 354-A/509/34 IPC registered at police station Hari Nagar and the consequent proceedings emanating therefrom are quashed, in view of the settlement arrived at between her and the petitioners. Keeping in mind the settlement arrived at between the petitioners and respondent no. 2, in my view, no fruitful purpose would be served to keep the criminal proceedings pending.

Accordingly, in the interest of justice, FIR no. 271/2013 under Sections 354-A/509/34 IPC registered at police station Hari Nagar and the consequent proceedings emanating therefrom are quashed.

Petition is disposed of in the above terms. Miscellaneous application is disposed of as infructuous. Dasti.
