W.P.(CRL) 1264/2018 By this petition the petitioner seeks quashing of FIR No. 904/2017 under Section 376 IPC registered at PS Mukherjee Nagar, Delhi on the complaint of respondent No.2 and the proceedings pursuant thereto on the ground that the parties have settled the matter. Offence punishable under Section 376 IPC being serious in nature, the W.P.(CRL) 1264/2018

FIR in question cannot be quashed on the basis of compromise between the parties.

Petition is dismissed.
