% 08.09.2017 On the oral prayer made by the learned counsel for the petitioner, Mr. Sikander S/o Subhash is impleaded as respondent no. 3. Amended memo of parties be filed during the course of the day. By this petition under Section 482 Cr.P.C., petitioner has prayed for quashing of the FIR No. 58/2011 under Sections 336/337/338 IPC registered at Police Station Tughlak Road, on the complaint of respondent no. 2. It is pointed out that offences under Sections 337/338 IPC have already been permitted to be compounded by the learned Metropolitan

Magistrate-03, Patiala House Courts, New Delhi vide order dated 26th August, 2017 passed in Case no. 40681-16 titled State vs. Jaspreet Bawa, in view of the settlement arrived at between the parties. Respondent nos. 2 and 3 are present in Court and have been identified by SI Sunil Kumar, P.S. Tughlak Road. Respondent nos. 2 and 3 submit that they have settled the matter with the petitioner of their own free will, voluntarily and without any undue force, pressure or coercion. Respondent nos. 2 and 3 further submit that they are not willing to pursue the FIR any further and the same may be quashed.

Keeping in view the settlement arrived at between the petitioner and respondent nos. 2 and 3 voluntarily, in the interest of justice, FIR No. 58/2011 in respect of offence under Section 336 IPC registered at Police Station Tughlak Road, and the consequent proceedings are quashed.
