The learned counsel for the respondents, on instructions, submits that the respondents are willing to reconsider the penalty awarded to the petitioners, inasmuch as for the petitioner nos.1, 2 and 3, the penalty can be reduced to compulsory retirement, while for the petitioner no.4, as he has not completed the requisite years of service, a request for compassionate allowance can be considered. 2.

The learned counsel for the petitioners submits that the petitioners would be satisfied with such reconsideration of the penalty awarded.

In view of the abovesaid concession/offer given by the respondents and appreciating the same, the petition is disposed of. 4.

Let consequential orders be passed by the respondents within a period of four weeks.
