% 21.04.2016 Present writ petition has been filed seeking a direction to respondents No.1 to 3 to make necessary amendments in the eligibility criteria to include overseas citizen of India candidates for online registration, counselling and admission to AIPGMEE (for admission to 50% MD/MS/Diploma Courses seat of All-India Quota.) Learned counsel for respondent nos. 1, 3 & 5, who appears on advance notice, has handed over a letter dated 19th April, 2016 addressed to him by the Assistant Director General (Medical Education). The same is taken on record. The relevant para of the said letter reads as under:- "Sub: Writ Petition (Civil) No........../2016 - Dr.Manali Jaishwal vs. Union of India and Ors at High Court of Delhi

Sir, This is with reference to your E-mail dated 19/04/2016 enclosing therewith a copy of above mentioned Writ Petition.

In this regard, it is mentioned that as per the representation and relevant documents/certificates of Dr.Manali Jaishwal (AIR-2448, Category - UR) dated 19/4/2016 (received through E-mail in the office of undersigned), it has been decided by Medical Counselling Committee of Directorate General of Health Services/Ministry of Health & FW to allow Dr.Manali Jaishwal (Petitioner) for registration and include her name for second round of on-line counselling under 50% All India Quota 2016. She will be allotted seat as per her choice and merit."

The statement made in the letter dated 19th April, 2016 is accepted by this Court and the respondent nos. 1, 3 & 5 are held bound by the same.

In view thereof, the present writ petition and the applications are disposed of as satisfied.
