Despite the fact that the present applications have remained pending since 2012/2013, no steps have been taken by the respondent No.2 to file replies in opposition.

Even today, learned counsel for the respondent No.2 seeks an adjournment on the ground that Mr. Atul Nanda, learned Senior Advocate who was appearing for the State of Maharashtra has now been appointed as the Advocate General for the State of Punjab. 3.

Learned counsel for the respondent No.2 states that he shall file his Power of Attorney along with the replies to the present applications within four weeks. Copies shall be furnished to the learned counsel for the petitioner, who may file the rejoinders within two weeks thereafter. 4.

List before the Registrar on 06.07.2017, for completion of pleadings in the applications.
