This Public Interest Petition has been filed contending that the lawyers practising in various Courts and Tribunals in Delhi ought to have been granted exemption from the operation of the Odd - Even Scheme introduced by the respondents vide Notification dated 11.04.2016. 2.
It is submitted by Shri Rajiv Khosla, the President of the Delhi High Court Bar Association/the petitioner appearing in person that in view of the practical difficulties being faced by the practising lawyers in discharging their professional duties which in turn has adversely affected the system of administration of justice, the respondents ought to have considered the request of the Advocate community to grant exemption from the scheme in terms of the order of this Court dated 11.01.2016 in W.P.(C) No.11398/2015 and batch.
