O R D E R

% 24.07.2018 It is submitted that petitioners and respondent no.2 have settled their disputes, therefore, FIR No. 820/2015 under Section 135 of Indian Electricity Act (Amendment), 2003 registered at police station Amar Colony may be quashed.

Counsel for the respondent no.2 admits that a settlement has been arrived at between petitioners and respondent no.2, inasmuch dues have been cleared in terms of settlement, therefore, respondent no.2 has no objection in case present FIR and the consequent proceedings are quashed. Keeping in mind the settlement arrived at between the parties voluntarily, inasmuch as, dues have been cleared by the petitioners, in my view, no fruitful purpose would be served in keeping the criminal proceedings pending. Accordingly, in the interest of justice, aforesaid FIR

and the consequent proceedings emanating therefrom are quashed. Petition is disposed of in the above terms.
