The petitioner is seeking parole for a period of one month to enable him to arrange funds for the payment of instalment of flat. 2.

Learned counsel for the petitioner submits that the petitioner has purchased a flat and he has to make payment of instalment of the flat to Cooperative Group Housing Society. Learned counsel for the petitioner has also placed on record the copy of the orders dated 19.11.2014 passed in W.P.(Crl.) No.2063/2014 and 28.11.2013 passed in W.P.(Crl.) No.1447/2013 and submits that earlier also the petitioner has been granted parole to enable him to make payment of instalments of flat and he has never misused the liberty.

Learned Standing Counsel for the State submits that the petitioner has W.P.(CRL) 1169/2016

been granted parole earlier also for the said purpose. But it should not allowed to be used as a tool to seek parole/furlough. 4.

Considering the purpose for which the petitioner is seeking parole i.e. for making payment of instalment of his flat with Co-operative Group Housing Society and that earlier also he had been granted parole for the said purpose, the prayer of the petitioner is allowed to the extent that he is granted parole for a period of one week from the date of his release on his furnishing personal bond in the sum of ₹10,000/- with one surety in the like amount to the satisfaction of the concerned Jail Superintendent. 5.

However, the petitioner is directed to surrender after the expiry of period of parole.

The writ petition stands disposed of.

As prayed, copy of the order be given dasti to learned counsel for the parties under the signature of Court Master.
