% 23.08.2016 By this petition filed under Section 482 of Cr. P.C. the petitioner seeks quashing of FIR No. 154/2003, under Section 420/506/34 of IPC registered at Police Station Rajouri Garden, New Delhi.

On perusal of the petition, it revealed that the petitioner has not impleaded the complainant as respondent in the present petition and the prayer sought for quashing of the complaint under Section 420/506/34 of IPC. The only ground raised on behalf of the petitioner for quashing the FIR is that the FIR pertains to the year 2003 and the trial is pending for the last 13 years and it is not being concluded.

In such a situation, in the considered opinion of this court, this court does not find any ambiguity in the continuation of the proceedings before the Trial Court.

However, the Trial Court is directed to expedite the trial expeditiously. With aforesaid directions, the present petition stands disposed of.
