It is stated that the matter has been settled amicably with the respondent No.2 / complainant before the Delhi Mediation Centre, Rohini District Courts, Delhi on 17.10.2015.

2.

Respondent No.2 / complainant - with her counsel is present before the Court and is identified by the Investigating Officer. I have

made enquiries from respondent No.2 if the dispute has been settled by her with the petitioners of her own free will without any fear or pressure. She has stated that the dispute with the petitioners has been resolved amicably with her free consent and she has no objection to the quashing of the FIR. She also states that all the payments agreed to have been received by way of cheques bearing Nos.700392 for Rs.5 lakhs, 700393 for Rs.2 lakhs dated 26.10.2015 and 28.01.2016 respectively and demand draft bearing No.263977 for Rs.3 lakhs dated 27.09.2016, all drawn on Corporation Bank. 3.

Petition is supported by affidavits of the parties. Copy of settlement order dated 17.10.2015 is on record. Since the matter has been settled between the parties amicably, no useful purpose will be served to continue with the proceedings. In the interest of justice and to put an end to the litigation and to settle in life after divorce, FIR No.230/2007 registered under Sections 498A/406/34 IPC at PS Prashant Vihar and all the proceedings arising therefrom are quashed. 4.

The petition stands disposed of accordingly.
