This is an application for release of the decretal amount deposited by the appellants with this court pursuant to the order dated 29.8.2008. An advance copy of the application has been served on the non-applicant/appellants; however, there is no appearance on their behalf. 2.

I have heard the learned counsel for the applicant/respondent and have also gone through the record.

Having regard to the submissions made by the learned counsel and the fact that the appeal of the appellant has been dismissed, the decretal amount which has been deposited by the appellants with the Registrar General of this court shall be released to the respondent/decree holder along with interest accrued thereon within four weeks. 4.
