% 18.05.2018 Notice.
Learned APP accepts notice for respondent no. 1.
Respondent no.2 Ms. Isha Sharma is present in Court and accepts notice. Respondent no. 2 has been identified by ASI Naresh Kumar of police station Rithala Metro.
She submits that she has settled the matter with the petitioner of her own free will and without any undue force, pressure or coercion before the Delhi Mediation Centre, Rohini Courts, Delhi on 12th January, 2018. Respondent no.2 submits that she has no objection in case FIR No. 51/2013 under Sections 323/341/356/506/354-D IPC registered at
police station Rithala is quashed.
Keeping in mind the settlement arrived at between the petitioner and respondent no. 2 voluntarily, in my view, no fruitful purpose would be served to keep the criminal proceedings pending. Accordingly, in the interest of justice, aforesaid FIR and the consequent proceedings emanating therefrom are quashed.
