versus STATE OF NCT AND ANR ..... Respondents Through:

CORAM:
HON'BLE MR. JUSTICE A.K. PATHAK
O R D E R
% 28.09.2016 At the relevant time, petitioner and respondent no.2 were working in the same office. On the complaint of respondent no.2, present FIR 357/2014 under Sections 354/354A IPC was registered against the petitioner at police station Hauz Khas.
Respondent no.2 alleged in the FIR that petitioner touched her back and cheeks inappropriately.
She further alleged that she made a verbal complaint to HR Manager of the office but no action was taken.
Vide Memorandum of Compromise dated 29th October, 2015 petitioner and respondent no.2 have settled their disputes amicably. Respondent no.2 is present in Court and has been identified by ASI Om
Prakash of police station Hauz Khas.
She submits that she has condoned the acts of petitioner and is not interested in pursuing the FIR any further. Since the parties have settled their disputes amicably vide Memorandum of Compromise dated 29th October, 2015, in my view, no fruitful purpose would be served in keeping the present criminal proceedings alive. Accordingly, in the interest of justice, FIR 357/2014 under Sections 354/354A IPC registered at police station Hauz Khas and the consequent proceedings emanating therefrom are quashed.
Petition is disposed of in the above terms.
A.K. PATHAK, J.
