O R D E R

% 10.11.2016 Present contempt petition has been filed alleging wilful disobedience of the order dated 22nd August, 2014 passed in W.P.(C) 5342/2014 whereby the decision taken by the Recommendation Committee in the Minutes of Meeting dated 03rd January, 2014 rejecting the petitioner's case for alternative plot was set aside and the respondent-GNCT of Delhi was directed to re-consider the petitioner's application for allotment of alternative plot afresh within two months.

It has been averred in the petition that despite making representations dated 19th September, 2014 and 19th December, 2014, respondents have failed to comply with the said order.

Today, learned counsel for respondents states that the

Recommendation Committee has recommended petitioner's case for allotment of a plot admeasuring 400 sq. yards. A copy of the Minutes of the Meeting held on 23rd September, 2016 is taken on record. The Secretary, Land and Building Department, is directed to issue a formal letter in favour of the petitioner within a period of two weeks. With the aforesaid direction, present contempt petition stands disposed of as satisfied.
