O.M.P.(MISC.)(COMM.) 65/2018 This petition under Section 29A(5) of the Arbitration and Conciliation Act, 1996 has been filed by the petitioner seeking extension of time for making the Arbitral Award in the arbitration proceedings between the parties.

Learned counsel for the respondent, who appears on advance notice, submits that the respondent has no objection if the prayer is granted. Having perused the contents of the petition as also the no objection expressed by the learned counsel for the respondent, the time for making the Arbitral Award is extended for a further period of one year with effect from 01.01.2018.

The petition is allowed in the above terms with no order as to cost. Dasti.
