W.P.(C) 3744/2016 The petitioner has filed the present petition seeking direction to the respondent to grant remaining four time bound promotions along with all the allowances, pay scales, arrears of pay and the difference of HRA to the petitioner.

Learned counsel for the petitioner submits that petitioner was appointed as clerk for respondent bank in the year 1978. Subsequently, in the year 1983 the petitioner was promoted to the officer cadre. He further submits that petitioner was involved in a criminal case bearing FIR No. RC48(A)/91 DLI dated 25.07.1991 under Section 120-B Indian Penal Code read with Sections 420, 467, 468, 471, 419 IPC and 13(2) read with Section 13 (1) (d) of

Prevention of Corruption Act, 1988. He also submits that after completion of the proceedings, the petitioner was discharged by learned Special Judge, PC Act, CBI-02, Delhi vide order dated 07.09.2015.

Learned counsel for the petitioner also submits that the petitioner is entitled to four promotions and petitioner made written representation to the Secretary Banking Division, Ministry of Finance on 15.12.2015 which is still pending.

Issue notice.

Mr. Rajat Arora, Advocate accepts notice on behalf of respondent.

Learned counsel for respondent submits that representation of the petitioner dated 15.12.2015 will be decided by the respondent within a period of six weeks.

Learned counsel for the petitioner submits that he is satisfied with the aforesaid.

In view of the submissions made by counsel for the parties, the present petition is disposed of with directions to the respondent to decide the representation of the petitioner dated 15.12.2015 within a period of six weeks from today in accordance with law and the decision thereof be communicated to the petitioner within one week thereafter.

The petition stand disposed of.
