% 20.05.2016 By this writ petition, petitioner has prayed for quashing of assessment order dated 11th December, 2015 and consequential demand notice as well as distress warrant. Learned counsel for the petitioner submits that appeal has already been filed before the Income Tax Appellate Tribunal (Tribunal) against the assessment order. The appeal is pending before the Tribunal. In view of above, I do not find any justifiable reason to entertain the present writ petition and the same is dismissed. Miscellaneous application is disposed of as infructuous.
