1. From the narration of the petition it appears that a notification under Section 4 of the Land Acquisition Act, 1894(LAA) was issued on 28th April 1995 and declaration under Section 6 of the LAA was issued twice i.e. on 26th April 1996 and 26th April 2013. Since Section 6 declaration issued on 26th April 1996 has already been quashed the question of the Award pursuant thereto surviving does not arise.
2. As far as the second declaration under Section 6 of the LAA issued on 26th April 2013, since there is no Award yet pursuant thereto, the question of
a declaration of deemed lapsing of the land acquisition proceedings does not arise.
3. The petition is disposed of. The pending application is also disposed of. S. MURALIDHAR, J.
