1. The refunded amount has been credited to the account of the Petitioner. The Court is informed that the appropriate orders regarding the interest on the refund paid will be passed within eight weeks from today.

2. Learned counsel for the Respondent assures the Court on instructions that as regards the interest payable to the Petitioner on the refund amount, appropriate orders would be passed not later than four weeks from today. On the basis of the above assurance, the writ petition is disposed of.

3. In the event that the above assurance is not acted upon, it would be open to the Petitioner to approach the Court for appropriate direction in accordance with law.
