% 26.10.2018 REVIEW PET. 354/2018 in W.P.(C)No.2115/2018 REVIEW PET. 353/2018 in W.P.(C)No.4384/2018 The petitioners urged that the impugned order dismissing the writ petitions on 13.08.2018 discloses an error apparent on the face of

the record. It is highlighted that the work and performance records, reported by the Assistant Registrar, were favourable - contrary to what was noticed in the final order. Learned counsel relied upon the concerned work and performance records, annexed with the writ petitions and contended that even on the question of number of leaves taken, the record of others, was not as favourable. This court has considered the submissions. Although the document which the petitioners rely upon does reflect a favourable report for the concerned period, nevertheless the report of the superior officer i.e. Joint Registrar was adverse. That report as well as the overall record of the petitioners were taken into account by the Judges' Committee which recommended that their probation should not be extended or confirmed.

In these circumstances, this court is of the opinion that there is no error apparent on the face of the record calling for review of the impugned order. The review petitions are accordingly dismissed. S. RAVINDRA BHAT, J A.K. CHAWLA, J OCTOBER 26, 2018 aj
