% 27.04.2016 CM No.14864/2016 (exemption) Exemption is allowed, subject to all just exceptions. W.P.(C) 3469/2016 & CM No.14863/2016(stay) Mr Uppal, the learned senior counsel appearing on behalf of the petitioners drew our attention to the order dated 11.03.2016 in which another NGO had filed a similar writ petition.

In that order, it was recorded that the matter would be placed before the competent authority and that a decision would be taken with regard to the award of tenders for providing mid-day meals in the Schools run by the Corporation. Ms Pushkarna appearing on behalf of the North Delhi Municipal Corporation states that the election of the Mayor is to take place tomorrow and that a new Committee would be constituted subsequently, which would go into the matter and take a decision.

She was unable to give us a clear timeframe with regard to the time to be taken for coming out with the final decision. Since we had already given four weeks time, we are view that only one more opportunity ought to be given to the North Delhi Municipal Corporation to

take a final decision in the matter and the same be taken within four weeks from today.

The writ petition stands disposed of.

In case the petitioners are aggrieved by the final decision that may be taken, it would be open to them to approach this Court. Dasti.
