O R D E R

% 30.04.2015 The main prayer in this writ petition concerns issuance of a writ of certiorari quashing the impugned order dated 02.03.2015 issued by the respondent No. 5 to the Reserve Bank of India under Section 226 (3) of the Income Tax Act, 1961. The sum of money indicated in the said order has already been remitted by the Reserve Bank of India to the Income Tax Department pursuant to the impugned order dated 02.03.2015. In fact, the same had been remitted on 09.03.2015, much prior to the listing of this writ petition in the first instance. As such, this writ petition has become infructuous.

The writ petition is dismissed as such. We have not expressed any opinion on the merits of the matter and the petitioner shall be at liberty to take recourse to such provisions of law, as may be available to it. BADAR DURREZ AHMED, J APRIL 30, 2015 SANJEEV SACHDEVA, J SR
