The petitioner seeks regular bail under Section 439 Cr.P.C. in case FIR No.779/2015 registered under Sections 376/384/506/34 IPC at PS Rajinder Nagar. Status report is on record.

I have heard the learned counsel for the parties including the counsel for the complainant and have examined the file. The petitioner is in custody since 02.12.2015. Upon completion of investigation, charge-sheet has already been filed. The parties were acquainted with each other since long.

Initially, both of them were friends and had travelled together to various places.

During the course of arguments, it is informed that certain cash / jewellery was extorted by the petitioner from the prosecutrix. It was agreed by the learned counsel for the petitioner that without prejudice and subject to outcome of the case in hand, the petitioner would pay `6 lacs to the complainant within two weeks through the Investigating Officer. 4.

Considering the facts and circumstances of the case and the petitioner's offer to pay `6 lacs to the complainant without prejudice, the petitioner is admitted to bail on furnishing personal bond in the sum of `50,000/- with one surety in the like amount to the satisfaction of the Trial Court. The petitioner shall pay `6 lacs to complainant without prejudice and subject to future adjustment and outcome of the case in hand within two weeks through Investigating Officer.

In case of non-compliance, the complainant will be at liberty to approach this Court.

The bail application stands disposed of in the above terms. Pending application also stands disposed of.
