O R D E R

% 26.04.2016 Present writ petition has been filed seeking a direction to respondent to investigate upon petitioner's representation/complaint dated 22nd September, 2015 and take appropriate action in accordance with provisions of Prevention of Money Laundering Act, 2002. It has been averred in the petition that an FIR No.0118/2015 dated 8th September, 2015 under Sections 409/420/467/468/471/477A read with 120B IPC has been registered by Economic Offences Wing, Delhi Police.

Learned counsel for petitioner states that despite the offences under Sections 420, 467 and 471 IPC being the Scheduled Offences in Part-B of the Schedule under the Prevention of Money Laundering Act, 2002, the respondent has failed to take any action against the accused persons named in the aforesaid FIR.

Mr.Amit Mahajan, CGSC, who appears on advance notice for UOI, states that the action in accordance with the law has already been initiated.

In view of the aforesaid statement of the respondent-UOI that investigation is being carried out in accordance with the law, this Court is of the view that no further order is called for in the present writ petition.

Consequently, the writ petition stands disposed of. MANMOHAN, J APRIL 26, 2016 KA
