% 02.05.2016 Learned counsel for petitioners state that keeping in view the fact that the last date for admission for Academic Session 2015-16 was 20th October, 2015, petitioners shall apply next year for allotment of new ITI units for Academic Session 2016-17.

As and when such applications are filed, the same are directed to be considered and dispose of by the respondents in accordance with law. Needless to say, the applications if any filed, shall be disposed of as expeditiously as possible. However, it is clarified that this Court has not expressed any opinion on the merits of the controversy and rights and contentions of all parties are left open.
