By this application, the petitioner seeks extension of time for deposit of demand draft for a sum of ₹2,50,000/- with the Registrar General of this Court as undertaken vide order dated 18th September, 2018. 2.

Application is disposed of granting the petitioner time to deposit the demand draft for a sum of ₹2,50,000/-, which will be revalidated as the validity of the same is going to expire on 15th February, 2019, with the Registrar General of this Court by 18th February, 2019 which amount will be kept in a fixed deposit by the Registrar General. 3.

Application is disposed of.

By this petition, the petitioner seeks anticipatory bail in case FIR No. 424/2017 under Sections 498A/406/323 IPC registered at PS Mianwali Nagar.

The allegations of the complainant in the above noted FIR are that her marriage with the petitioner was performed with great pomp & show and lavish arrangements. Gifts were given to the parents and relatives of the petitioner. The grievance of the complainant was that the behaviour of the petitioner even at marriage was abnormal and thereafter petitioner and family members of the petitioner used to talk in rude manner. The complainant also alleges that she was subjected to serious mental & physical cruelty and sexual abuses. It is alleged that on 20th December, 2009 she was locked in the house for 5-6 hours by mother-in-law. She alleges that she was not provided proper food and she was locked by her husband and other family members in the room alone.

Considering the nature of allegations as also the fact that the petitioner, to show his bona fide, has undertaken to deposit a sum of ₹2,50,000/- with the Registrar General of this Court, this Court deems it fit to grant anticipatory bail to the petitioner. It is, therefore, directed that in the event of arrest the petitioner be released on bail on his furnishing a personal bond in the sum of ₹25,000/- with one surety bond of the like amount, subject to the satisfaction of the Arresting Officer/SHO concerned. 4.

Petition is disposed of.
