O R D E R

% 08.05.2018 Respondent no.2-Sakshi Vaid is present in Court and has been identified by ASI Jatan Swaroop of police station Krishna Nagar. She submits that she has settled the matter with petitioner of her own free will and without any undue force, pressure or coercion before the Delhi Mediation Centre on 6th February, 2017. Her marriage with petitioner has already been dissolved by a decree of divorce by mutual consent dated 13th November, 2017 by mutual consent passed by Family Court, East District, Karkardooma Courts, Delhi therefore, she has no objection in case FIR No. 559/2016 under Sections 498A/406 IPC registered at police station Krishna Nagar is quashed.

Keeping in the settlement arrived at between the petitioner and

respondent no.2 voluntarily before the Mediation Centre, in the interest of justice, aforesaid FIR and the consequent proceedings emanating therefrom are quashed.

Petition is disposed of in the above terms. Miscellaneous application is disposed of as infructuous.
