O R D E R

% 24.07.2018 The petitioner was protected from arrest by the order dated 01.05.2018. He had been directed to join investigations. The petitioner has joined investigations and has met the Investigating Officer many times. The learned Senior Advocate states that the petitioner will continue to do so as and when called by the police. It is contended that the petitioner is registered with Ministry of External Affairs, for supply of manpower to agencies overseas; that the petitioner and his family live in India and have reckonable economic assets, therefore the petitioner will not flee from the course of justice.

In view of the above, it is directed that in the event of arrest of the petitioner in FIR No. 149/18 under sections 420/120B IPC registered at

Police Station Subhash Place, New Delhi, he be released on bail on his furnishing a personal bond in the sum of Rs.40,000/- with a surety in the like amount to the satisfaction of the Arresting/Investigating Officer, subject to the following conditions:

(i) the petitioner shall continue to participate the investigation as and when he is so intimated by the Investigating Officer; (ii) his mobile phone number shall be kept operational at all times, so that the police could contact him;

(iii) he shall not make any effort to evade the process of law; and (iv) in case of change of the phone numbers or address, the petitioner shall inform the police forthwith.

Observation made in this order shall have no bearing on the merits of the case.

The petition is disposed- off in the above terms. A copy of this order be given dasti to the learned counsel appearing on behalf of the parties under the signature of the Court Master. NAJMI WAZIRI, J JULY 24, 2018 RW
