% 03.10.2016 (1) Present petition under Section 482 Cr.P.C. has been preferred by the petitioner for quashing of FIR No.359/2013 under Sections 135/150 Electricity Act, 2003 registered at Police Station Khyala. It is stated that the matter has been settled with the complainant/respondent No.2 amicably before Mediation Centre, Tis Hazari Courts, Delhi vide settlement agreement dated 08.11.2013. (2) Learned counsel for respondent No.2 / BSES Rajdhani Power Ltd. informs that the petitioner has paid his all dues pursuant to the settlement and respondent No.2 / BSES Rajdhani Power Ltd. has no objection to the quashing of the FIR.
(3) The petition is supported by the affidavits of the parties. Copy of settlement agreement dated 08.11.2013 has been placed on record. CRL.M.C. 1582/2016
(4) Since the matter has been settled between the parties amicably and the entire dues have been paid, no useful purpose will be served to continue with the proceedings. In the interest of justice and to put an end to the litigation, FIR No.359/2013 under Sections 135/150 Electricity Act, 2003 registered at Police Station Khyala and all the proceedings emanating therefrom are quashed.
(5) The petition is disposed of accordingly.
